Dawson Street Christian School

First established in 1983 as Bethlehem Temple Christian School by Bishop and Sis. Albert C. Jackson, Jr. There was a very strong desire felt by Christian parents to place their children in a disciplined Christian environment. While at 309 Whitesville St., BTC grew an reputation in the community to be an school of excellency. In 1999, the school moved to the Alpha Multipurpose Center and became Dawson St. Christian School. In 2007, DSC received private school accreditation through the Georgia Accrediting Commission. This was an great milestone for Dawson Street. By the help of God, we will be successful with this new school in our community.

AT DSC, students are given an great opportunity to learn. Our classes are small enough to monitor the needs of each child. Spiritual emphasis is provided through daily Chapel, Prayer, and Bible study.

We have an experienced and dedicated group of teachers and administrators. Each teacher strives to create a supportive, challenging, and christian-based classroom atmosphere to encourage students to participate.
